Jalan Dakwah - MM

"Jalan dakwah hanya satu.

When it's Too Late

Bismillah ArRahman ArRahim

"People are asleep;
when they die, they awaken"

(Surah Al-Mu'min: 45-50)

I remembered in one of our weekly meeting, one of the members brought up these verses. It made me think and ponders how todays life is valuable and will determine our conditions at The Judgment Day and also in Hereafter. So, treasure each second a valuable moment with kindness, humanity, charity and all good things which is coupled with pure intention (ikhlas). Wallahu'alam. Allahumma inni asaluka ‘ilman nafi’a wa rizqan thoyiba wa ‘amalan mutaqobbala. Ameen…

Think beyond the Needle

Bismillah ArRahman ArRahim

Last few days, I came down with a terrible cold. With the runny nose, I have trouble breathing through it. Then a tiny sharp needle was like poking my bone continuously. I lost my attention in classes even though I did try to catch up with the lectures. The painfulness distracts my interest. The next day, my head was heavy overwhelmed with dizziness. As I try to move around the pain was getting worse. I felt tired and depleted, but worst of all I lost my focus and concentration in doing my routine work. With such much pain, I don’t have any option except for went to bed earlier than before.

It wasn’t easy. With the overworking duties, not getting enough sleep and missing meals might be the major factors to my pain. Pains are like needles, once it strike it does hurt even though it might not be severe injuries. But, I realized that that was not all. The pains are actually helping me to relief, to relax and to heal. To relief means freeing me from anxiety as a small voice keep on whispering slowly that you’re not alone. To relax means to have some rest for a moment from these worldly matters. And to heal me from such sins which might prevents me from gaining Allah’s pleasure. Deep inside my heart, I thank Allah for the golden chance of having so much pleasure. Indeed, relaxation relies on the exhaustion (Kepenatan itu suatu kerehatan). Wallahu'Alam.

Breaking Promise

Promise is easy to make but hard to deliver. Why? Because every promise, there is price to pay right? Undoubtedly keeping one’s word are characteristics of the believers, and breaking promises is one of the characteristics of the munafiq, as was narrated from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:

“There are four (characteristics), whoever has them is a hypocrite, and whoever has one of the four has a characteristic of hypocrisy unless he gives it up: when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise he breaks it; what he makes a pledge he betrays it; and when he disputes he resorts to foul language.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 2327; Muslim, 58.

Well actually, at the very beginning of this semester, I hope and promise to myself to update my blog at least once two weeks. But seems like it turns up the other way round, perhaps I only manage to write once 2month. Ish3…lately I have such a lack of motivation to write something here. But reading my fellow friends’ blog makes me boosted up again. Hopefully, I wouldn’t break my promise again since breaking promise is not the attributes of a Mukmin.

Winners make commitments they always keep.

Pelayaran Menuju Pelabuhan

Muhasabah.....

Pesanan & kata-kata inspirasi buat siswa siswi:

Robbanaa aatinaa minladunka rohmah, wahayyik lanaa min amrinaa rosyada (Q.S. Al-kahfi : 10)

Doa terus kita panjatkan, ikhtiar terus kita lakukan. Wallahu'alam bisowab.

Life Gets Better

There are things in life that we don’t appreciate enough,
until it’s all gone.

There are blessings that we do not truly understand
until Allah swt takes them away...

... but when it’s all gone, we begin to regret it all.

So, let's us all appreciate His blessings one and all.

Today will be awesome, when we have IMAN
and tomorrow will be outstanding, if we have IMAN

Fabrication Begins

Bismillahi Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim

This semester will be extra tougher than the previous last semesters. Right now I’m trying to work out with my hot water rocket which was my final year project and at the same time, each of the final year aerospace engineering students have to fabricate an aircraft which can take off and land safely. If crashes occur during the flight, cruise, climb, takeoff or landing, your mission will be considered as fail operation. As for my FYP II, the operational and testing of hot water rocket seems to be similar as my propulsion lab. Hope that it runs smoothly. Even now, we are facing some difficulties in fabricating these things. Esp FYP II.

Really hope for your prayers.
Allahumma yassir alaina, amin.

Birds are as an inspiration to human being. The idea of building a large huge aircraft comes from the imitation of a small little bird. Subhanallah, how fantastic.

Kewajipan yang Lazat

Bismillahi Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim

Wallahu'alam.

Terus Baca, Pelajari, berTawakal, dan berAmal.
Ya Allah, tetapkan kaki-kaki kami di atas jalanMu.

The Most Beautiful Flower

Something to ponder...
The Most Beautiful Flower

Once long ago, there were a group of men gathered together for the sake of Allah. These men were all knowledgeable in their own right. One man, a scholar (as they all were), was giving a talk of religious matter. After the lesson, the teacher gave each man an assignment. To find the Most Beautiful Flower they could find and bring it back for all to see. They all left out immediately looking for the most beautiful flower.

Oh you should have seen the flowers that were picked. Orange with pinks, Reds and purples, beautiful colors. They all presented the flowers as they placed them on the teacher's desk.

There was one man, a small man, who had a bit of trouble finding his flower. He searched and searched until he found the perfect one. He entered the room and placed his flower on the desk. The other men gasped. They were shocked. They grumbled.

The teacher entered the room, and looked at all of the beautiful flowers and fixed his eyes upon one in particular.

"Who brought this flowers to me? He asked with a very curious voice.

The small man replied in a very humble tone, "I am the one that placed this flower upon your desk, my dear teacher."

The teacher then asked, "Please akhi, tell me why, why this flower?"

The small man replied, again in a very humble tone, "I thought this one was the most beautiful flower in the entire field."

The teacher, very curious, then asked, "Please akhi, tell us your reasons for choosing this flower, InshaAllah."

The small man stared at his teacher, then at his fellow companions and said, "As I walked through the field of beautiful flowers, I could not help see their strength, with vibrant colors. They looked like beautiful Muslims, praying to Allah (swt) in solah. All of these flowers reaching up to the heavens humbled by the power and might of Allah (swt). Solely dependent upon Allah."

The small man paused, as if he were thinking of all the flowers he had seen.

He continued, "I then came upon a flower, small, withered, decaying. I walked to it, it was no longer full of life, devoid of any brilliant color, no longer with strength, and no longer in its worship to Allah (swt). This flower to me was the most beautiful flower, because it served Allah (swt) to its fullest. It worshiped Allah (swt) with humility and obedience. This flower had completed its purpose. And Allah (swt) had taken this flower out of Mercy, for its obedience to him."

He once again paused. The other men were on edge.

He continued, "You see, I dared not pick a flower which was still worshipping Allah (swt), I dared not place this flower in sadness, as it would no longer be able to praise Allah. I feared, that if I picked a flower, vibrant with color, glorifying Allah (swt), it would be as if I disturbed the solah of one of you. Astghfirullah (may Allah forgive me)

After the small man's explanation. All of the men in the room, gathered their flowers, placed them back into the ground, and praised Allah (swt).

Quran 3:190- "Behold! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day,- there are indeed Signs for men of understanding,-"

Quran 42:29 "And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the living creatures that He has scattered through them: and He has power to gather them together when He wills."

Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika,
ash hadu an la ilaha illah Anta,
astghfiruka wa atoobu ilaika.

Glory is to You, Oh ALLAH, and praise is to You.
I bear witness that there is no One worthy of Worship but You.
I seek Your forgiveness and return to You. ameen...
